A Credit Manager
acts as the primary gatekeeper of the bank’s asset quality. The core of this
role is to facilitate lending by rigorously assessing a client’s
creditworthiness and ensuring all regulatory and internal paperwork is
processed accurately.

By evaluating
financial data and calculating risk ratios, the Credit Manager ensures that
every loan approved aligns with the bank’s risk appetite while supporting
business growth.

Sourcing

Ø  File checking for document sufficiency
as per the policy.

Ø  Feedback the upfront discrepancies to
the sales team.

Ø  Create the file on processing system /
tracking systems.

Ø  Handling credit tools such as CAM.

Ø  Doing reference check, Cash flow
analysis & Doing collateral verification

Ø  Analyzing Credit worthiness of the
Customers on the basis of Banking, Salary Slips and other income docs.

Ø  Calculation of Debt burden and
analyzing Credit worthiness of the Customers on the basis of previous Track
records

Ø  Preparation of Credit Appraisal Memo
& forwarding the same case once it’s cleared to Cluster Manager

Ø  Maintaining TAT for approval

Pre and Post disbursement

Ø  Verification of the Post Approval
Documentation along with any Subject to Condition Approval requirements.

Ø  Ensure the completion of Risk Screening
(FCU) process for all files
