Responsibilities:-

 

  • Apply in-depth specialty knowledge to complete tasks related to Know Your Client (KYC & VKYC).
  • Participate in AML training offered through the business.
  • Relevant experience required.
  • Working knowledge of AML regulations and experience preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.
  • Maintain accurate, organized and current compliance records and documentation in a manner consistent with the department’s needs.
  • Perform V-CIP journey with client over call to verify client KYC.
  • Interaction with the cross-functional team to resolve any internal queries related to the loan application.
  • Client communication or confirmation for any issue in shared documents.
  • Perform Dedupe checks to know any fraud application or any other details linked with client loan application.
  • Head responsibility for the loan processing.

About the Role:

This is  a strategic role expectation is to set the FCU unit end to end & core expectation is to set the fraud & risk management framework. Ability to lead FCU functions & work very closely with all the key stakeholders of the organization. Somebody with technical expertise in the BFSI space would be an add on benefit. 

Some high level things you would own but not limited to:

  • Ability to lead and set up the RCU Function.

  • You will collaborate closely with the founder(s) to develop and execute strategic plans, including business expansion, market penetration, and operational improvements – Strategic Planning

  • You will act as a trusted advisor and confidant to the founder(s), providing guidance and support on critical decision-making processes, problem-solving, and overall company direction – Founder Support

  • You will oversee and manage key projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution, resource allocation, and effective communication across teams – Project Management.

  • You will foster collaboration and effective communication between different departments and teams to drive alignment with the founder’s vision and promote operational efficiency – Cross-Functional Coordination

  • You will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking mechanisms to measure the progress and success of strategic initiatives, and provide regular updates and reports to the founder(s) and executive team – Performance Monitoring

  • You will cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, partners, and other external parties, representing the founder(s) and the company’s interests – Relationship Management.

  • You will conduct thorough research and analysis on market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the founder(s) for informed decision-making – Research and Analysis

  • You will build, develop, and mentor a high-performing team within the founder’s office, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning – Team Leadership.

  • You will handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity – Confidentiality and Discretion.

  • Develop and oversee loan disbursements, documents and reports along with obtain credit and financial information as required.
  • Prepare closing, develop closure instructions, supervise contingencies and verify lock information.
  • Collect credit and varied documents from customers as well as third parties required to support decision of loan approval.
  • Head responsibility for loan processing.
  • Ensure loans are processed as per established company procedures and policies.
  • Review title binder along with closure documents for correctness.
  • Prepare and present note along with preliminary closure documents to the respective warehouse.
  • Transfer loan files to further teams for analysis.
  • Present any problem largely affecting decision to Unit Supervisor.
  • Process, close, present, service and record loan related notes and disbursements etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

  • primary & key responsibility is to negotiate the terms and conditions of the loan details shared with the customers (ROI, Charges etc)
  • Outbound calling of about 200 -250 calls per day to the interested customers
  • To ensure conversion of the loan applications at the highest rates possible.
  • Ensure loans are processed as per established company procedures and policies
  • Process, close, present, service and record loan related notes and disbursements etc.

Job Description :

  • Team Handling of around 25 person with various team leads in hierarchy
  • Docs verification, FI, BSV, Sherlock, Disbursement would be the key areas to manage.
  • Stake holder management, building new capabilities, vendor management would be allied routine activities.
  • Training within and outside department on key parameters.
  • Maintaining various relevant tracker and do data analysis.
  • You will evaluate creditworthiness of loan applicants through analysis of financial statements, credit scores, payment history, and other relevant factors.

What you would possess already:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certifications

  • Strong understanding of credit risk assessment techniques, credit scoring models, and lending principles.

  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the financial services sector.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
